First Fridays: On Friday 2 February Poets Anonymous will be meeting at Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD.

The meeting starts at 8pm. All are welcome to read their own poems, their favourite poems, or just to listen. £3.

Featured poet this month is Paul Carney, winner of the 2015 Pat Kavanagh Award for his outstanding poetry collection, The Empty Horizon  -  Barbara Marsh has described Paul“s poetry as “airborne, delicately balanced between soaring, full flight and hovering just above ground'. -  a poet well worth coming to see.

Ruskin House is close to bus routes 403 and 455 running down Park Lane, and all the buses running down High Street and South End. And 15 minutes walk from East Croydon Station.

Second Saturdays:  Poets Anonymous also hold a Second Saturday meeting at the United Reformed Church, Addiscombe Grove. Bring your own or your favourite poems to read, or just come to listen and enjoy.

The next meeting is Saturday 10 February at 2.30pm. All are welcome to read their own poems, their favourite poems, or just to listen. £3

The United Reformed Church, Addiscombe Grove is two minutes walk from East Croydon Station, Tramlink and buses.

Poetry in Wandle Park - Sunday 2 July 2017

Poetry for a summer day on the Wandle Park Bandstand fron 2-6pm. Free

Come and read your poems. There will be a special guest poet Graham Brown, from the Isle of Wight, and music from local band Mendicant. But there will be the opportunity for everyone to read
